Library hosts silent auction beginning Nov. 12
GLOCESTER - Harmony Library, 195 Putnam Pike, announces the following programs.
Weekly Scrabble Club - Wednesdays at 1 p.m. Bring your own board and dictionary.
Friends of the Library Book Sale - Friday, Nov. 6, 4-7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 7, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Find bargains while supporting the library.
Teen Zone: Beading Program - Tuesday, Nov. 10, 4 p.m. Make a beaded bracelet and earrings. Registration required.
Second Thursday Book Club - Nov. 12, 1:15 p.m. The group will discuss "Stones from the River" by Ursula Hegi.
Annual Silent Auction - Thursday, Nov. 12, to Saturday, Nov. 21. Toys, gift baskets, books and antiques as well as unique artisan items such as paintings, quilts, and wood crafts will be on display. The silent auction, run by the Harmony Library Trustees, raises money for the book budget. Bids close at noon on Nov. 21.
