DAV Mobile Service Office offers claim filing assistance

PROVIDENCE - So many veterans feel confused about benefits and services they've earned. There's so much to know and so many changes from one year to the next. That's why the nonprofit Disabled American Veterans offers help.

The DAV Mobile Service Office will be at the following locations to provide counseling and claim filing assistance. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Woonsocket Elks Lodge, 380 Social St.; Wednesday, Nov. 4, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Cranston Senior Center, 1070 Cranston Street; Thursday, Nov. 5, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Shaws Supermarket, 71 East Main Road, Middletown.

Like all DAV services, help from the Mobile Service Office is free to all veterans and members of their families.
