'Wonderland' gala Friday to benefit food pantries

PAWTUCKET - ProVisions United will host its annual gala, "Wonderland," at Hope Artiste Village at 1005 Main St. on Friday, Nov. 6, from 7 to 11 p.m. The event will feature 12 of Rhode Island's top restaurants and caterers, with special live performances, performance artistry from 1031 Productions, dancing, dozens of certificates with wine pairings for purchase and the grand prize of a 2010 Toyota Prius. Two additional prizes for first and second place drawings will be a fully catered dinner for eight, wine included, from "Ripe Fruit & Events" and a custom closet design from "Right @ Home."

Admission is $50 with proceeds to benefit Crossroads RI, McAuley House, Youth Pride Incorporated and Manna Relief International.
