Learn Italian at North Scituate Library

SCITUATE - North Scituate Public Library, 606 West Greenville Road, announces the following adult programs.

Learn Italian the Easy Way with Bob Costanzo: Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning Nov. 5. Purchase the class text book at the library for $11. Registration is required.

Monday Evening Book Club: meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. November's book is "The Housekeeper and the Professor" by Yoko Ogawa. Future selections include "The Wapshot Chronicle," "Night," and "Long Way Gone.

Afternoon Book Club: Monday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m., to discuss "Mudbound" by Hillary Jordan. December's book will be "Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace ... One School at a Time."

Winter Warmth Raffle: Nov. 20-Dec. 18. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Winning tickets will be drawn on Friday, Dec. 18.

The library will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 11, for Veteran's Day. For Thanksgiving, the library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and will be closed all day on Thursday, Nov. 26. For more information or to register, call the library at 647-5133.
