Scouting for Food pick-up is Saturday

PROVIDENCE - Boy Scouts statewide will be collecting food in their annual Scouting for Food Campaign this Saturday, Nov. 7, starting at 9 a.m.

If you received a plastic bag delivered by a Boy Scout to your home last Saturday, the scouts are asking that you remember to fill it with non-perishable food donations and place it by your front door Saturday morning before 9 for them to pick up.

Donations will be given to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

If you did not get a bag, take food donations to any local Walgreen's through Nov. 16.
