Georgiaville Pond to be drawn down

SMITHFIELD - Notice is given to Georgiaville Pond abutters and users that the pond's water level will be drawn down approximately four feet November through February in order to clean and repair the shoreline and to utilize the freeze method to help weed control.

Residents should not rake or blow leaves into the pond.
