Greenville library hosts children's art class on Nov. 12
SMITHFIELD - Greenville Public Library, 573 Putnam Pike, announces the following children's programs:
Art Classes - Children ages 6-10 may now sign up for a class taught by artist and teacher Adele Karbowski on Thursday, Nov. 12, 4-5 p.m. Adele will teach art inspired by nature. Registration is required and must be done in person. A $5 materials fee will be required at registration. A second class will be held on Thursday, Dec. 10, 4-5 p.m. Register for one or both.
Thanksgiving Centerpiece - Children ages 5-12 are invited to register for this workshop presented by the members of The Apple Blossom Garden Club to be held on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m. Create a centerpiece for the holiday table. Registration is being taken now.
Decorate a Fall Craft - Children ages 6-10 are welcome to join us on Monday, Nov. 23, at 4 p.m., for a fall craft. The children will hear a Thanksgiving story and make an autumn craft. Registration is being taken now.
Children's Room Bubble - During the month of November, Paige Hoffman will display her Webkinz collection in the children's room bubble. Paige is 11 years old and enjoys collecting Webkinz, "Because they are cute and cuddly."
The lobby trees are decorated monthly with crafts made by Girl Scout Troop 544 under the direction of Diane Maione.
The Children's Room is decorated with artwork from children at the Greenville Nursery School. Come in and check out the work of these young artists.
