Special Olympics fund-raiser set for Wednesday

WARWICK - Wednesday, Nov. 11, marks an important date for Special Olympics of Rhode Island. Three Uno Chicago Grill locations, Warwick, Providence, and Smithfield, will be hosting "dough raising" events on behalf of the charity.

All customers visiting the restaurants for either in-house dining or carry-out may present a designated Special Olympics fund-raiser coupon at the time of purchase. This will enable 15-20 percent of the check, excluding alcohol, tax, and tip, to return as proceeds to the Special Olympics. The money raised will support 40 athletes throughout the state to attend the National Games in Nebraska.
